Back in February I wrote a piece on the Bizarro World- a backwards place where people do the opposite of what a sane person would do on Earth.Well, after seeing Jim Cramer interviewed by Jon Stewart on the Daily Show, I have to say I think we are truly living in a Bizzaro World.
How else can you explain that one of the best financial interviews I have ever seen was conducted by a host of a comedy show? I've seen interviews done on shows like 60 Minutes, 20/20, and on a host of networks but this interview easily ranks as one of the best I have ever seen. I echoes all the concerns and gripes I've had and written about regarding the current state of the Financial News Media where it is more about "entertainment" than it is about presenting helpful informative news. It's a sad state of affairs when the finance shows are devolving more and more into comedy and variety acts and the true hard hitting questions can only be found on a show on Comedy Central.
Here's the uncensored/unedited interview that's sure to go down as one of the best ever as Stewart hold no punches in calling the financial networks out on their duplicitous behavior:
Part I
Part II
